Purchased an FFmpeg plugin? Follow these instructions on how to build FFmpeg to work with MainConcept plugins

MainConcept is providing a custom version of FFmpeg to enable you to build your own FFmpeg binaries. The source code can be found at https://github.com/MainConcept/mc-ffmpeg-omx

To find the correct branch and version, we are using the following naming convention:

omx_x.x_public_y.y

  • x.x refers to the version of MainConcept FFmpeg plug-ins to be used
  • y.y refers to the base version of FFmpeg

Example: For building FFmpeg 7.0 to be used with MainConcept FFmpeg plugins version 3.3, the correct branch name is omx_3.3_public_7.0
